The Harvest and The Harvesters

"God has set a course for each one of us that can polish and perfect us to be with him."  Henry B. Eyring

As we came to Bintulu, we felt that we had brought with us certain abilities to share...

We had been told that "the field was whlte, already to harvest"..   Right?  So we did  indeed thrust in our "sickle" and began our work...

Somewhat to our surprise, the harvest yielded a "fruit" unexpected...

A great change has taken place in us; ...and and we have discovered that what we are now is better than what we came with.

We have become the "fruit"; the people "The Harvesters"  They have"pruned and digged, and trimmed as needed" they have worked on our hearts and our understanding...

They are genuine, unaffected, sincere...

Delacruz:  suffering from chickungunya, a disease from mosquitos that affects the joints and bones

They are trusting and believing...  Carlos:  also sick; wanted Elder McKellar to give him a blessing...

Daisy and beautiful Ferasyella.  Is it any wonder that they have "wrought a change in us ?"

Empiah:  Mother and Grandmother

"Behold O Lord, their souls are precious, and they are our brethren..."  Alma 31:5

God sent us to the poor and humble; and.... they have responded by teaching and refining us!

"This is my joy and my thanksgiving..."   Alma 26:37

God always fulfills his promises!
"He will bless you in good measure, pressed down, ...shaken together, and running over!"  Luke 6:38

"He will strengthen you and finish your faith..."

God has set a course that can polish and perfect us...
With love, from the South China Sea...
